Ashish Verma

Co-Founder & Director

A Design and Digital Marketing professional, Ashish co-founded International Travellers' Hostel with his mother, Shubha. The hostel opened its doors to travellers on 01.01.2013. Based in Germany, he manages marketing for a German hotel chain while overseeing ITH remotely.

Shubha Verma

Co-Founder

(Secretly a superwoman), Shubha co-founded ITH with Ashish while co-managing another family business. She also blessed ITH with her finger-lickingly, lip-smackingly delicious food recipes. Shubha is a charm among the travellers and makes our hostel as awesome as it is today.

Avneesh Kabra

Business Head – Asia

Based in Bangkok, Thailand, Avneesh brings in his perspicacious analytical skills into the ITH mix. He crunches the numbers and is working to expand ITH into the SE Asia region.

Bikash Singh

Hostel Manager

Bikash takes care of the hostel and our guests. With his above & beyond approach to being a host, he is there to ensure that everything with your stay remains excellent.

Rajesh

Cook, General Maintenance

Rajesh is the man! He has been a key member of our family for over 10 years. He’s there to take all-round care of the hostel and our guests. Beware: His smile is contagious.

Jeetu

Chauffeur

Jeetu is the man on the streets of Varanasi! A very patient driver, he has been with us for almost 5 years already. He will most likely be the chauffeur for your airport transfer.

Abhishu Kushwaha

Homestay Owner

Abhishu Kushwaha is multi-talented professional and an entrepreneur. With a professional degree from Banaras Hindu University and a flair for creatives (like photography, videography, and more), he is now heading ITH's India operation and is personally invested in some select properties.

Akash Ghimire

Homestay Manager

Akash Ghimire is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA). His passion for travel, cultural exploration, and cooking brings a creative edge to his work, allowing him to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

Kaashvi Verma

I am a part-time host and a full-time travel enthusiast.I was born in Varanasi, but traveling has been a part of my life ever since I was a baby. I have traveled, roved and migrated my entire childhood, so I know how important it is to feel at home away from home, and it brought me to hosting this beautiful property. I don’t stay in Varanasi, therefore, my staff will be helping you out with your requirements and making your stay a comfortable one.

Dr. Andrea Sandmöller

Franchise Owner

Andrea is a molecular and microbiologist who is also a travel enthusiast with an enterprising mindset. Based out of Wiesbaden, Germany, she became ITH's first international franchise owner. Her gorgeous property is situated in Valencia, Spain.

Nicolas Bommes

Regional Manager – Spain

Nicolas hails from Argentina and has been living in Spain for many years. Based out of Valencia, Spain, he looks after and manages everything about our properties in the region.
